ArcLogistics Route (ALR)
The ALR applications is delivered by the ESRI and provides tools for effective management of daily transport dispatcher tasks. This includes delivery in time, volume/weight calculations, minimal transport distances, and so on.
ALR can calculate routes based on orders and current fleet status keeping the transport routes expense-optimized.
The application is available either as standalone program or an integrated E-TRANS module (the inland transport processing module).
ArcLogistic Route Features
Includes a registry database (locations, fleet status, orders, routes) containing all the necessary data.
Orders can be easily entered in the system or imported from external customer database/accounting system.
Locates client orders in the map based on postal address, ZIP code, or GPS coordinates
Manages currently vehicle fleet including special limitations (e. g. vehicle payloads).
Automatically connects orders to vehicles, calculates optimal routes, and lists stop sequences for transport days.
The ARL application can design transport routes based on calculated distances, actual transport times, vehicle capacity values, and load/unload locations. Software considers driver working hours including mandatory stops, total transport time, and vehicle maintenance periods.
Key Properties
- Dynamic response to current transport requirements.
- Various route data presentations (print, e-mail, reports)
- Route optimization based on road/motorway network of the Czech Republic
- Intuitive and easy-to-learn interface
- Connectivity to other transport control modules
