SAMS for ArcIMS

SAMS is a decision-making support tool. It chooses relevant spatial information from several data sources and makes them accessible for the user depending on his role in the process. SAMS can be a part of larger solution built upon the ArcGIS platform and containing data store facility (e. g. GeoDatabase, ArcSDE) as well as powerful management tools. Typical deployment examples include agendas and operation applications set up over the same data store. SAMS serves as a gate i to applications and subsystems. It manages agendas related to such processes.

• Primarily uses ArcIMS mapping services
• Provides tools for mapping service administration, user access control, and application environment display - SAMS Administrator
• Contains client environment for GIS data processing - SAMS Client replaces "demonstration" ArcIMS client with limited functionality
• Contains environment for simple edit tasks and development of custom user applications SAMS Application Wizard
• It possible to integrate specialized applications into the SAMS, such as modules for enhanced land registry opeartions - SAMS Plug-in
